WHEN TRUSTING GOD ISN’T EASY

Nobody said trusting God would be easy. In fact it can be pretty difficult at times because sometimes we just want what we want when we want it and how we want it. Trusting God is one of those things in our Christian walk that will always be there. There will always be situations in life that require us to not lean on our own understanding and that will force us into a place where we have a choice to either grow in trust with God or not. Growing in trust means in spite of fear being present, in spite of things not being in our control, and in spite of what people say and do:

1. We choose to keep our eyes and mind on Him.

2. We choose to believe the report of the Lord.

3. We choose to feed our faith.

4. We choose surround ourself with strong believers that can pray with us and walk us through.

5. We choose to worship God in the midst of it all.

6. We choose to read our bible and absorb the life-giving power found in His Word.

7. We choose to rest and not worry.
   

8. We choose to keep moving forward by faith in spite of what we see, feel, think or hear.

9. We choose to obey God.

10. We choose to guard our hearts against anything that would pull us away from Him.

11. We choose to capture our thoughts and submit them to God.

12. We choose to speak life and God's Word over our life and situation.

13. We choose to hang on to God's promises and hope.

14. We choose to go to church.

15. We choose to resist the temptation to murmur and complain.

We choose. God is, was and will always be Faithful.
